This Chestnut Leaf Placemat is a lace leaf motif crochet with thread yarn, can be used as placemat or coaster with single leaf, and table runner by joining the leaves in round or long. Crochet with thick yarn into rugs is another possibility. Most projects like this will curl around the edges. The only way to get the leaves to lie flat is to block the finished project.
