Consider Owls Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern

When you put on these mittens, owls wake up and open their eyes and their beaks. The owls are formed by horizontal cables (a technique I have invented) – with an extra twist to give them a beak. The mittens are crocheted entirely in slip stitches, using the back loop only slip stitch. The owls are formed by cable patterns which are symmetical for the left hand and the right hand.
