The ELo Star CAL was designed by Tess (Therese Eghult) with the aim to make overlay crochet a little bit more approachable, and not as scary, in hopes that more would like to try this amazing technique. This design can of course be used for so many other things than just resting your cup. Joined together you can make buntings, pillows or maybe a baby blanket? Only your imagination sets the limits.
