Jamie the Foxx is a triangular lace shawl with a slight crescent shape.
The shawl is worked top-down in garter stitch which makes it a quick and easy knit. Jamie is inspired by the Scandinavian red fox, a gorgeous and majestic animal with the most amazing copper-red fur. The fox is often the symbol of trickery and cunning. Where I grew up, brushes, boots and horse tack kept disappearing mysteriously on a regular basis – only to be found in the forest a few days later close to the big fox-burrow. A variation is to knit the white parts in stockinette stitch to get more texture definition. The pattern is adapted for the yarn from the Swedish company Ullcentrum, but also works well with any sport weight yarn.
Needle: 4 mm circular needle, 80 cm or longer
